What a difference a few days can make. On Sunday I was dragging my weary butt around the streets doing an impersonation of a geriatric tortoise on Prozac. I felt awful; I was in pain; I pulled out of my run and got a lift home. Today, after 3 days of rest, lots of stretching and stability exercises given to me by physio Tim, I ventured out again. It was just a quick 5kms around the local park but I have to tell you I was INVINCIBLE! So a few more short days to complete my recovery, a race on Sunday and I’ll be back into long trail runs starting next week. There’s no stopping me now…. bring it on!
